Rattler Roundup: March 2025
Rattler Roundup – March 2025
March Madness isn’t just for basketball. Last month, your Ariat Texas Rattlers proved “Bull is Life,” lighting up the Unleash the Beast circuit left and right. If you missed any of the action, we’ve got you covered: Here’s a look back on everything that went down in March, as well as a look ahead at all the excitement Rattler Nation can expect in the coming couple of weeks!

UNLEASH THE BEAST
The PBR’s elite individual tour made its way to Wisconsin, Arkansas, Kentucky, California, and New Mexico last month with a few familiar faces in tow. Ariat Texas Rattlers Brady Fielder, João Ricardo Vieira, Daniel Keeping, and Claudio Montanha Jr. made regular appearances on the UTB tour, while teammates Braidy Randolph and Callum Miller joined them in Albuquerque for the Monster Energy Team Challenge to take on the Gamblers in the second battle for the Land.com Texas Cup.
Here’s how March shook out for your Ariat Texas Rattlers:
Milwaukee, WI
Brady Fielder and Claudio Montanha Jr. kicked off March with some big rides inside Fiserv Forum. Fielder went 3-for-3, highlighted by an 89.75-point ride on UTZ BesTex Smokestack, earning him fourth overall with 261.5 points. Montanha Jr. notched solid scores of 84.25 and 86.5 to finish tied for seventh with 170.75.
Little Rock, AR
Brady and Claudio rocked out again in Little Rock, going 3-for-3 on the weekend to split third overall with aggregate scores of 261.25. Claudio took Hunter for an 87.50-point-joyride, followed by Brady aboard Bittersweet. They each found the whistle two more times before the weekend wrapped and left Little Rock on fire.
Louisville, KY
Brady went 3/3 on the weekend in Louisville, boosting his ride streak to an impressive 12 qualified rides in a row. With a marvelous 90.25-point-ride aboard Mike’s Motive in the championship round, the Aussie cowboy split the round win and landed second overall.
Palm Desert, CA
The Rattlers kept on grooving in the Golden State. In Round 2, Claudio Montanha Jr. found the whistle on Rogue One for 87 points, while Daniel Keeping went 85 aboard Fifty Shades. Claudio and Dan picked up their second qualified rides of the weekend in the third round as well, with Montanha Jr. jiving with Judgement Day for 85.75 and Keeping taking Captain for a spin worth 84.25.
Albuquerque, NM
Your Ariat Texas Rattlers and the Austin Gamblers brought a Texas-sized rivalry to the Pit on night one of the Ty Murray Invitational. Sure, the loss stung a little – but what fun would this rivalry be without a little bit of pressure? With the battle for the Land.com Texas Cup score all tied up at 1-1, we know that it's the next showdown that really counts…

LOOKING AHEAD
The battle for the gold buckle is coming down to the wire with just four more regular season UTB events to go. The PBR’s elite tour will stop in Billings, Nampa, and Tacoma this month before coming to Cowtown Coliseum for the Elimination and Ride for Redemption rounds in May.
Brady, Claudio, João, and Daniel are all well on their way to a spot at the World Finals, and are sure to keep chipping away at the standings in the coming weeks. The race at the top is particularly tight, with less than fifty points separating No. 2 man Brady Fielder and the Gamblers’ Dalton Kasel.
The rest of the Rattlers will be looking to strike back against the Gamblers soon as well. The final faceoff for the Land.com Texas Cup of this UTB season goes down in Nampa, ID on April 18th – and this time, it’s winner-take-all. Make sure to tune in by streaming live with RidePass or the PBR’s Official YouTube channel!
We’ll be back in your inbox next month with a recap of all the most exciting moments from the final month of the UTB regular season, and an update on standings as we head into the final countdown to Cowtown. Catch ya later!
