Unleash the Beast: Brady Fielder Shines in Hiss-toric 2025 World Title Run

Brady Fielder is no stranger to the winner’s circle. A member of the Ariat Texas Rattlers since 2022, Fielder has navigated his fair share of championship rounds and high-pressure situations. As part of the squad that clinched the 2023 Camping World Teams Series championship, the 25-year-old cowboy already has one world title buckle to his name. This Unleash the Beast season, he’s coming for another.

Brady Fielder has been lighting up the UTB circuit this 2025 season. Back in January, he rang in the new year with a first-place finish in Pittsburgh, collecting his first win of the season and claiming the #1 spot in the world standings in the process. The Aussie stayed strong in the weekends that followed, spending an impressive seven straight weeks at the top, highlighted by a 12-consecutive-ride streak that etched his name in the history books among the likes of PBR legends JB Mauney and Justin McBride.

The buzz surrounding Brady has been growing steadily since the 2024 Camping World Teams Series season. Much like the mascot of the team he represents, Fielder is known for moving stealthily, sometimes in near-silence, and demonstrating the efficacy of a well-timed strike. Following a third-place finish at the UTB World Finals last year, Fielder focused his sights on becoming an asset to his teammates for the upcoming Teams season. The coolness and consistency that have become hallmarks of Brady’s style began to take shape early in the summer, as the Australian phenom proved he was someone coaches could count on to deliver a ride in high-pressure situations. As the 2024 Teams season progressed, Brady became Texas’ go-to choice for shootout rounds. Fielder’s consistency helped boost his team to multiple event wins throughout the season — including a clean sweep at “Rattler Days” last September, where he rode aggressively and effectively on home dirt to finish 5/6 on the three-day homestand to help the Rattlers clinch their third straight undefeated Rattler Days. Brady was a pivotal part of Texas’ two wins over their in-state rivals, the Austin Gamblers, that helped the Rattlers clinch the inaugural Land.com Texas Cup title. At the close of the 2024 season, he was also recognized with the first-ever ‘Great 8’ award for finishing with the highest individual riding percentage (71%) in the league.

Whether it be the Camping World Teams Series or the Unleash the Beast circuit, there’s no denying that the race for the world title is exhilarating for fans of Professional Bull Riding and competitors alike. The prospect of the gold buckle is especially thrilling for the riders pouring their souls into (and putting their lives on the line for) the chance to compete every weekend. Especially in the individual circuit, it would be easy for anyone running such a close race to lose sight of the bigger picture, but Brady Fielder continues to hold fast to his hallmark attitude of enthusiasm and gratitude even as the final countdown to the World Finals ticks closer. Rivalries never turn bitter, wins are welcomed with humble enthusiasm, and setbacks are viewed as opportunities to get better.

Brady Fielder’s positive outlook and humble character has earned him favor in the eyes of many—from fans and commentators to coaches and competitors—and kept him grounded and centered as he pursues his own path forward. Ariat Texas Rattlers’ head coach Cody Lambert has called Fielder “a great example for all bull riders and all people because he chooses to have a good day every day.” In a recent interview for PBR Now with Kate Harrison and Matt West, current world No. 1 Dalton Kasel emphasized his close friendship with Fielder, saying that the tightly-contested world title race has been an encouragement to each cowboy to be the best person and bull rider they can be. Brady has recognized the profound impact his coaches, competitors, and teammates have had on his career path, saying: “I’m very thankful for these guys to allow me to have that opportunity to have a chance of achieving what I want to. I wouldn’t be able to do it without them.” His personal mantra prides “putting in the work each and every day” and “leaving nothing out on the table.” Event after event, the ever-humble Australian shows up with the simple goal of doing his job. He has said before that his “only plan was to ride bulls,” and is “thankful to be doing what [he] truly love[s].”

With just one regular season event to go, the battle for the gold buckle is coming down to the wire. The Aussie cowboy has his priorities straight when it comes to achieving his goals, and is taking the competition in stride: “To me I can’t control what anybody else does, but I’m just going to keep doing what I do and let the rest take care of itself,” Brady says. “I’m running my own race, and with that goal in place, there’s nothing between me and what I want to do and where I want to be and what I want to become.”

No matter the final outcome of the 2025 World Title race, both Brady’s personal growth and impact upon the broader PBR community this season has been undeniable. His ability to roll with the punches and willingness to uphold a high standard for himself while never losing sight of the bigger picture is an example for bull riders and fans everywhere. “I just leave it all in God’s hands, and however it works out, I’m going to be thankful for it,” Fielder says. Rattler Nation will be behind Brady and the rest of the UTB qualified Ariat Texas Rattlers come May, when the Unleash the Beast tour comes to Cowtown Coliseum for the Ride For Redemption and Elimination Rounds before making the final stop in Arlington for the World Championships.
